Merida- Inspired Costume

Be courageous in our fantastic green and blue princess gown. This green fancy chemise is shown as part of the Merida Inspired steampunk look, which includes a Merida-inspired bodice and a green fancy saloon skirt.

We use similar techniques in building our Bodices as we do in our Victorian-style Corsets. The corsets are made with top-quality designer fabrics. Each corset has two layers of fabric for quality, comfort, and style. The outer layer is high-end designer fabric and the inner is a heavy-duty liner for structure. For shape and support, 4 pieces of steel boning are used on each corset. I pay a little more for the boning, but it’s worth it to give you that corset figure which tightens everything in and pushes up to give you a lot of support and cleavage.

Our sizes line up with t-shirt sizes.

Corset size chart

To take your waist measurement, use seamstress tape, and measure at the smallest part of your waist, usually 2-4 inches above your belly button. If the smallest part of your waist is higher, measure there.

This chemise conveys elegance and ease, with draping angel-wing sleeves, a long-sleeve cut to drape down the arm for a feminine look. This chemise features over four yards of fabric to create that flowing look, and with an elastic neckline, the generous cut will fit most body types, 4X-6X with our Plus size.

This is such a fun flirty skirt! I take five yards to make the skirt, then pile on the yardage to make the ruffles. The skirt is long all the way around, and we tuck it into the corset to create high-low looks, bustles, and extra ruffles. This skirt can be worn as a steampunk skirt, western dustpunk, belly dance skirt, and renaissance style. Feel free to message us with questions about styling the skirt!
